Our Story First, we are two people who are simple servants of Jesus Christ, and we strive daily to bring glory to God and blessings to others through our work. The main goal of our work is to make disciples for Jesus Christ as commanded in Matthew 28: 19-20. The American church has failed in this effort and many churches are either dead or dying. We wrote a book on this if you choose to read it and it is called “Awake and Arise: The Dying of the American Church: A Call for Reformation to Revival.” The main reason for the dying of the American church is refusal to make disciples and more importantly, the refusal to make leaders of disciples. This is why we exist. We have found that many people are suffering from the pain of the past in their lives and it dictates their future. Vicki and I both suffered greatly in this area as we both were victims of childhood abuse and that effected our lives for almost fifty years. You don’t have to suffer any longer! Through our ministry, we help to connect people to God the Father, through Jesus Christ His Son, and then be open to the healing Love of God ministered by God the Holy Spirit to be transformed to the path of freedom from the pain of the past. Through this process, we not only are able, by the power of God, to make disciples, we also are able to help heal the suffering of many. I hope we are blessed to connect with you to help you!
Our History Vicki and I were not raised in Christian homes and we both were victimized through the traumatic event of childhood abuse – sexually and/or physically. We were damaged and broken for most of our lives until a time where, separately, we were connected to God the Father through Jesus Christ. Once saved, we both thought that life would be easy and fun. It wasn’t! We both continued to suffer until we were reunited after 42 years a part. We have been married for nine years and God has blessed us through sanctification and revelation to grow into the Likeness of Jesus Christ. God opened our hearts through the academic pursuit He placed me on and, through the support and love of Vicki, we learned how to love each other and to love God. We also learned that we were still suffering from the pain of our past. God blessed us to find the path of freedom and health and now we serve Him each day by serving others that are hurting and suffering from the past!
Our Mission As stated in “Our Story,” we are simply two servants of God working each day to bring glory to God through our work as we strive to help those who are hurting and suffering from the pain of their past. Our mission is two-fold – the first is to make disciples for Jesus Christ and the second is connected to the first as we help those hurting and suffering from the pain of the past as we connect them to a relationship with God and then help them find a path to freedom and a better life!
